And her funeral is to be held at Saint Paul's Cathedral next Wednesday
(17/4/13) which given the Bristol riots strikes me as a delicious irony.
Therefore I'm inclined to say that Rihanna's LA concert isn't actually
that important. Also she's playing Anaheim tonight so unless something
urgent leaps out I'll probably fully review both concerts tomorrow.
In the meantime I should point out that conveniently a lot of rumours
have started doing the rounds claiming that Rihanna and Chris Brown have
broken up. I for one will be putting absolutely no faith in these
rumours because it's rather obviously being faked. Rihanna and Chris
Brown are going along with in an effort to reduce calls for Chris
Brown's restraining order to be re-introduced in order to allow them to
reunite at a later date. The CIA handlers suggested it in an effort
trigger a discussion about community containment and generally confuse
matters. If you look back you'll remember we saw the exact same thing
during Chris Brown's Contra Mundum tour just before the COP18/CMP8
Summit however that 'break up' didn't stop Rihanna visiting Brown on the
French and most crucially Ivorian legs of his tour.
So basically those two should really stop trying to play the game -
they're terrible at it. It was interesting to see who the rumours forced
out of the woodwork though.
