Yesterday Rihanna performed in San Diego, California. As the
final in a series of concerts in what is effectively Rihanna's home
state this concert really marked the re-start of the tour proper with
Rihanna and her tour party taking to the road again in the tour caravan.
The big news is that despite of the rumours surrounding the Los Angeles
concert Rihanna has indeed been re-infected with a nasty case of Chris
Brown. The couple were photographed out and about in Los Angeles on
Wednesday (10/4/13) and pictures Rihanna has posted on Twitter/Instagram
suggest that Brown has joined the tour party at least until tonight's
concert in Las Vegas. Personally I believe that claim to be genuine.
The CIA handlers have suggested this and Rihanna has agreed to it in
order to provoke a reaction from the international community about
whether Brown will be tolerated at any of the European, Australasian,
African legs of Rihanna's tour. I've not seen any evidence of any
reaction to this provocation which to me seems to suggest that
international community is rallying behind Malawian President Joyce
Banda's position that Brown can certainly try his luck.
The much more sinister reason of Brown's inclusion in the tour party is
to massively increase the tension amongst Rihanna's core social group
within the high pressure environment of the tour bus. Following last
weekends row between Rihanna and Melissa Forde it is quite clear that
Forde is now deeply isolated from Rihanna and the other less bright
members of the core group. Nowhere was this seen more clearly than in
yesterday's celebration of Forde's 27th birthday. This involved Rihanna
and the rest of the group waking Forde up and sharing embarrassing
photographs of her having just woken up on the the Internet. The timing
of this prank coincided perfectly with my dinner with my mothers,
brother and his new girlfriend and was intended to be a group shaming of
Forde over her particular interest in the issues homosexual and
government engineered romantic relationships that discussion about my
family and I often provokes.
The inclusion of Brown within that core group is intended to exacerbate
and increase those divisions to the point either Forde or Brown are
kicked off the tour. As it's long been known that one of the key ways
the handlers intend to maintain Rihanna and Chris Brown's relationship
is through isolating Rihanna from anyone (such as Forde) who questions
her relationship with Brown this is intended to create tension about
whether or not that objective has been achieved. Personally I'm not that
tense because as while Chris Brown continues to be protected we all
know how this story ends so the exact steps taken to that conclusion
aren't really that interesting.
In order to really provoke the discussion about whether Rihanna and
Chris Brown's relationship is genuine or something that has simply been
engineered in order to achieve a political objective wider member of
Rihanna's social group Kim Kardashian has been having some trouble with
her divorce. Rather than being a man and accepting a no fault divorce
over their 72-day 2011 marriage Kris Humphries is instead pushing for an
annulment on the grounds of fraud. The fraud being that elements of the
couple's courtship was faked by the production company as part of the
show "Keeping Up With the Kardashians." This promotes obvious
discussions about the extent to which romantic relationships can be
faked.
While this argument might fascinate people who watch shows like "Keeping
Up With the Kardashians" being made of sterner stuff international
diplomats and spies will already know the answer to that question. They
are though likely to be quite amused by Chris Brown and Rihanna's
apparent belief that they are some sort of Romeo and Juliet characters
having a doomed love affair that is opposed by all around them. Given
the level of state involvement in keeping Rihanna and Chris Brown
together the only real comparison I can draw between them and
Shakespeare's character's is that they both die tragically. The only
comparison I can draw between Rihanna and Chris Brown's relationship and
the relationship between James Dean and Marilyn Monroe is that they're
both utterly fictitious.
Further pushing the issue of the level of state involvement in Rihanna
and Chris Brown's relationship Rihanna's mentor Jay-Z has released a
song about his and his wife Beyonce's recent controversial trip to Cuba.
In it Jay-Z expresses a fondness for US President Obama and claims that
he personally sanctioned the trip to Cuba. Obviously at first glance
this makes it appear that Jay-Z and Obama are close friends and agree on
a range of issues such as the endorsement of Rihanna and Chris Brown's
relationship and the Cuba trip. However the more politically astute will
realise that being held personally responsible for things like the Cuba
trip and the continued protection of Chris Brown is hugely politically
damaging to President Obama.
This creates speculation that maybe Jay-Z actually doesn't like Obama
and his policies and was deliberately acting to sabotage his 2012
re-election bid. This obviously feeds into the main theme of the US leg
of Rihanna's tour which is a sort of post-mortem of the role that
Rihanna, Chris Brown and I played in the 2012 Presidential election. The
song is also intended to promote confused discussion about whether
Jay-Z has specifically fallen out with Obama because he is continuing to
protect Chris Brown or because he is pushing for the protection of
Chris Brown to be lifted. Although I doubt either of these are
particularly true if you believe the former it portrays Obama in an even
worse light but if you choose to believe the latter it suggests that
Jay-Z wants Rihanna neatly contained within a long-term romantic
relationship in order to stop his wife Beyonce getting jealous of his
relationship with Rihanna.
That latter interpretation will obviously seed the ground for the wave
of gossip and rumour about Jay-Z, Beyonce and Rihanna's relationship
which expected to intensify ahead of Rihanna's concerts in Brooklyn in
early May. While I think the vast majority of those rumours will be
nonsense I can't help but feel there is a grain of truth in this story.
After all I've often found those who seek to control the lives of others
often do so because they can't control aspects of their own lives.
Although it's slightly off-topic and feels like stating the obvious I
should point out that by encouraging the Democratic Peoples Republic of
Korea (DPRK) into making ever more aggressive threats the US has been
hoping to force it into having to test-fire one or more missiles in
order to back up it's claims. The US then intends to use this aggression
from the DPRK to encourage it's south-east Asian neighbours to side
with the US against China. This trick of creating a threat and then
offering the protection to counter that threat is one of the oldest in
the diplomatic playbook. In the US and the UK it's more commonly known
as the criminal activity of protection racketeering.
I should also point out that DPRK President Kim Jung-Un is roughly the
same age as me and is married to a DPRK pop-star who is roughly the same
age as Rihanna. Therefore all this speculation about my relationship
with my Twitter wife Rihanna is intended to put intense personal
pressure on him in order to make him behave more aggressively.
Obviously I may edit this to include some actual discussion of Rihanna's
concert last night if that information becomes available. However I
seriously doubt it.
